The Empire Returns

Following the recent settlement of Claridge House, Darlinghurst; and now the successful resale of the Hotel Diplomat, Potts Point, Receivers and Managers have moved quickly to re-list Annandale’s multi-level Empire Hotel.

National brokerage agency HTL Property is returning Sydney’s Inner-West hospitality icon to market on behalf of the Receivers and Managers following proximate sales of Newtown’s Courthouse Hotel; and The White Cockatoo in Petersham.

“Recent sales of geographically relevant freehold pubs highlight the market appetite which arguably remains unsatisfied; and which we believe will underwrite the interest in this refurbished, and particularly well positioned and multi-faceted Sydney pub” advised HTL Property Managing Director, Andrew Jolliffe.

The sale of the statuesque Empire Hotel, prominently positioned along compellingly zoned Parramatta Rd in Sydney’s attractive inner-west suburb of Annandale; is exclusively for sale by HTL Property via an EOI sale process concluding 4 June, 2026.
