Sydney Leads National Transaction Volumes with 75% YoY Increase

Total Sydney pub sales for the 12 months of 2021 reached almost $700m, up ~75% on the corresponding year which saw around $400m in sales concluded.
2020 saw 17 transactions conducted, whereas 2021 recorded significantly more at 32 individual sales; meaning the average sale price in 2021 was ~$21.5m, down slightly on 2020’s ~$23.5m average.

2021 also recorded a ~$70m single asset sale in the form of the record setting Vineyard Hotel, located in Sydney’s North-West growth corridor.

2021 has not only been a watershed year for the national hotel industry, but also for HTL Property as the specialist firm.
