The freehold of the Western Downs Motor Inn and Adjoining Residential Property at Miles in South West Queensland are being offered for sale by Ray White Hotels Australia on behalf of Receivers and Managers.
The motel and an adjoining residential property are being marketed in one line via Expressions of Interest by Leon Alaban and Ben Kleimeyer of Ray White Hotels Australia under instructions from Justin Walsh and Adam Nikitins of Ernst & Young.
Mr Alaban said the motel on a site of approximately 4,075 sqm in the Miles commercial precinct is currently not operational and its rooms and other facilities require some furnishings and equipment to be installed.
“The motel’s accommodation features 23 rooms with 17 rooms previously marketed as ‘deluxe king rooms’ and six other rooms ‘deluxe king rooms’ with a kitchenette,” he said. “The facilities include a ground floor dining area and bar, a first floor conference room and an area which could be used as a fitness centre. There is also a barbecue area, swimming pool and spa.”
Mr Kleimeyer said the residential property is on a block of approximately 1,100 sqm and comprises two bedrooms and one bathroom.
Miles is connected to Brisbane, Toowoomba and Roma by the Warrego Highway and Goondiwindi and Rockhampton by the Leichhardt Highway.
Expressions of Interest close at 4pm on Thursday, April 14, 2016.
