Iconic North Coast Pub for Sale by HTL

Following 22 years of continuous ownership, the Sydney based Short family have elected to sell their iconic Seabreeze Beach Hotel in the picturesque South West Rocks (NSW).

Having engaged leading specialist agency HTL Property to manage the on-market EOI sale process, the highly regarded pub family are offering the market the opportunity to acquire the hugely popular freehold hotel; in concert with three separately titled commercial properties.

“Aside from being a rare and historically strong trading beachside hotel operation, our client has also obtained Development Approval to substantially optimise the significant land holding it owns in the precinct” advised HTL Property Managing Director, Andrew Jolliffe.

Occupying an imposing 5,284sqm land holding in the CBD’s prime position and in addition to the three commercial properties also contemplated by the sale process, the large format hotel offering comprises multiple revenue centres, including: food, beverage, gaming, wagering, accommodation and a popular drive through bottle shop.

With the national transaction landscape seeing increased activity over the past month, interest is anticipated to come from both NSW investors, as well as interstate groups and sophisticated funds.

“The recent announcement regarding PAG’s $1bn+ investment in AVC, should serve as a very positive talisman for the hospitality market generally; with the asset class performing significantly better than most other commercial property investments” Jolliffe added.

The sale of the Seabreeze Beach Hotel is via a public EOI sale process, managed exclusively by HTL Property; and concluding Monday 9 October, 2023.
