HTL Property is pleased to announce the sale of the freehold going concern interest in the Tahmoor Inn Hotel Motel, which has been sold via a discreet, off market sale campaign.
Located in South Western Sydney’s Macarthur Region, the hotel is a sprawling suburban tavern which features a bar, bistro, gaming room with 24 entitlements, function room and a 14 room motel. In addition to the amazing pub fundamentals, the venue includes an impressive 2.9 hectares of land; situated in a part of Sydney quickly being consumed by the demands of the city’s encroaching urban development.
HTL Property’s Blake Edwards and Dan Dragicevich were appointed to manage the transaction for the Murray and Ryan families – who have owned the hotel for over 36 years.
The successful purchaser is a Sydney based hotel syndicate.
“A continuation of the strong trading conditions across the national hotel landscape, and a shortage of pubs for sale, is driving market confidence and depth” commented HTL Property’s National Director, Dan Dragicevich.
“Sale prices remain strong and demand consistent” Dragicevich continued.
“The sale of the Tahmoor Inn represented one of the most contested assets HTL has marketed and sold this year, with over 6 genuine offers to purchase being presented during the sale process” advised HTL Property Director, Blake Edwards.
“Purchasers were attracted to the clear upside, which was both short term in the form of operational improvements to the venue; and also medium to long term in the form of the patent and consistent population growth in the region, and potential for redevelopment of the asset’s surplus land component” Edwards concluded.
HTL Property is in the process of closing out several other pub transactions nationally; and which the leading brokerage firm will announce to the market in the very near future.
