Continuing the theme of fast paced high value hotel sales nationally in early 2026, leading agents Andrew Jolliffe and Dan Dragicevich of specialist boutique agency HTL Property, today announce the sale of the large format Horsley Park Tavern.
Physically built by its only ever owner, Valentine Lubec and family in 1980, the sizeable 10,500sqm commercial holding has been a focal point for the sprawling western Sydney community for nearly 50 years.
“Pursuant to a short remaining lease term, a significant opportunity was presented to the market in the form of a rare Sydney freehold hotel, in an area of the city inundated by housing and infrastructure growth” advised HTL Property National Director, Dan Dragicevich.
“Least of all being the monolithic second international airport and surrounding development apparatus” Dragicevich added.
The popular hotel was exclusively marketed by national brokerage agency HTL Property; and the expression of interest sale program realised multiple offers to purchase.
“Ripe for ideation, the scale and key development corridor positioning of this freehold hotel is what attracted astute investor interest and resulted in the positive divestment event for our valued clients” commented HTL Property Managing Director, Andrew Jolliffe.
“The traditional hotel asset class is closing in on $600m in national sales this calendar year already, and the market’s response to high quality product available to purchase remains winsome” Jolliffe concluded.
Whilst the identity of the purchaser and successful price paid has not been disclosed, HTL confirms the sale price reflects the market guidance provided throughout the sale process; and the profile of the purchaser beseems that of a highly experienced and multi-asset, mixed revenue owner.
End.
