Brooklyn Hotel Sold After 30 Year Ownership

Following yesterday’s announcement of the record Riverina sale of the Springdale Heights Tavern, specialist brokerage agency HTL Property today announces the sale of the picturesque Anglers Rest Hotel on the NSW Hawkesbury waterfront.

The sale of the freehold going concern hotel was brokered exclusively by HTL Property Director Blake Edwards, his second in as many days; and was concluded on behalf of the well regarded McKellar and Watts families.

“Like our clients in Albury who owned their hotel for 25 years, our clients in Brooklyn have owned the Anglers Rest Hotel for in excess of 30 years” advised Edwards.

“Our firm respects and recognizes the trust placed in us to represent such deep ownership history, and as such we are delighted to have delivered a prosperous outcome for our valued clients” Edwards added.

The Anglers Rest Hotel enjoys spectacular views from its ~2500sqm parcel of land perched high above the active Brooklyn waterway; and comprises accommodation, gaming, food and beverage functions, with the large outdoor beer garden a stand out and hugely popular feature.
