Leading national brokerage agency HTL Property has proudly sold the Fire Station Hotel in Newcastle.
Set atop and large commercial land holding and enjoying considerable weekly revenue inputs, the Wallsend hospitality mainstay was sold by HTL’s Blake Edwards.
The off-market sale was sold to the highly regarded Murphy brothers, well known owners and operators of multiple Newcastle/Hunter region hotel assets.
“Following the recent Reserve Bank generated interest rate cut, and the expectation of more to follow before the end of the year; an amalgam of buyer activity and optimism has surged, leading us to the considered view that transactions over the next six months will surpass those experienced in the corresponding period during the record year of 2022” concluded HTL Property Director, Blake Edwards.
The Fire Station Hotel, Newcastle, is the 5th NSW freehold hotel sold by HTL Property in as many weeks this new Financial Year.
